【摘要】 Pump reversal as a turbine has become an effective way to recover surplus liquid energy at present. In this paper, to study the influence of solid particles in the incoming medium on pump as turbine, based on mixture model, the full three-dimensional internal flow of a single stage and suction centrifugal pump reversed as turbine was numerically calculated, and the effects of three typical particle properties (density, concentration, and diameter) on the key performance parameters, including hydraulic turbine head, energy recovery efficiency, and radial force, were obtained under the rated working condition. The results show that the axial force on the pump as turbine impeller under solid-liquid two-phase flow increases and the radial force decreases compared to the single-phase clear-water flow. Each external characteristic parameter shows a different trend with each particle property changes. The axial force increases with the density, concentration, and diameter of particles. Under low particle density, low concentration, and small particle size, the radial force acting on impeller is smaller.

【摘要】 Most conveyed industrial slurries contain hard particles, and the Y-type slurry valve is eroded after the long-term operation, causing economic losses. In this study, the liquid-solid two-phase flow and erosion characteristics of the Y-type slurry valve were studied. The distribution positions of particles with different sizes were determined, and large particles showed a deposition phenomenon. The particle distributions were more dispersed. At smaller valve opening degrees and the average velocity of solid particles decreased with the increase in valve opening degree. The main erosion area of the valve was concentrated on the ring area around the valve body connecting the downstream pipeline, and the valve disc. The relationship between the particle size and the erosion rate was analyzed, and the distribution of the main erosion area was obtained.

【摘要】 Insurance is a contract between a client and an insurance company in which the insurer provides the policyholder with financial protection to reduce risk. The existing insurance assistance literature did not present any ICT-based digital system for searching for a suitable insurance policy and company while taking rating, company type, financial condition, premium, insurance growth rate, and policy type into consideration. Existing literary works lack an automated insurance assistance system with features such as insurance lawyer search, insurance claim failure prediction, insurance tips, insurance company quality detection, time critical help posting, insurance complaint submission, and general insurance information accessibility. To resolve these issues, this paper yields an insurance awareness assistance mobile application that includes insurance claim fraud prediction, appropriate insurance policy and company search, contact with insurance companies, complaint submission, expert suggestion, company quality detection, insurance lawyer search, time critical help post, app rating submission, and insurance tip access features. The app qualification test results revealed that at least 60% of clients dispatched the foremost quality remarks regarding the insurance app's feature suitability.

【摘要】 In this study, a novel low-power, high-speed hybrid architecture for a 16-bit carry look-ahead adder (CLA) employing 4:2 compressors is proposed. To enhance compressor latency and power efficiency, a new hybrid full adder architecture based on eleven transistors is implemented. The conventional CMOS (CCMOS) architecture of CLAs is hindered by poor latency due to the significant parasitic capacitance presented by higher-order carry generation modules, unlike the ripple carry adder architecture. To mitigate latency issues in the CLA architecture, the design generates odd and even carry bits independently. The proposed 16-bit CLA architecture is simulated using a 45 nm PTM technology model with the Mentor Graphics Tanner EDA tool. Comprehensive simulation-based analyses and comparisons with state-of-the-art methodologies are conducted, focusing on power consumption, delay, and area (transistor count). The proposed design has a power-delay product of 108 femtojoules, which is 53% better than the CCMOS 16-bit CLA architecture.

【摘要】 Wind turbine gearboxes are subjected to coupled excitations from gear cracks, gear modifications, and flexible shaft deformations. However, most existing studies examine the dynamic behavior under isolated excitation conditions. This study proposes a novel dynamic modeling approach for the wind turbine gear-bearing coupling system, combining isogeometric analysis (IGA) and lumped parameter methods. An improved slice method is developed to evaluate the time-varying meshing stiffness (TVMS), considering the gear crack and modifications. Then, the refined integration method is developed to solve the gear contact analysis integrating the system vibration responses. Subsequently, the dynamic model is validated through bench testing, and system dynamic characteristics are thoroughly investigated. The results indicate that gear cracks may shift contact load distribution away from the cracked region, increase bearing contact load amplitude, reduce the bearing's load area, and induce periodic impacts. Additionally, gear axial crown modification (ACM) is more sensitive to the contact load distribution of gear-bearing and alleviates the impact response of the coupled system. Furthermore, the flexibility of the supporting shaft (FS) may lead to tooth disengagement and exacerbate impact vibrations in the system.
