It seems that a new product with a touchscreen and a cheap widget powered by an online chatbot is released daily. One could reasonably believe that a mobile phone attachment will be capable of autonomously scrambling eggs within the next quarter.

【摘要】 The field of computer science known as 'artificial intelligence' (AI) tries to teach machines to think like humans by teaching them to figure out complex issues, pick up new abilities on their own, and make sound judgements. Product designers have found artificial intelligence (AI) to be helpful when attempting to create one-of-a-kind items that meet a specific demand. Artificial intelligence has been used for anything from coming up with new ideas to mimicking actual human activities. Companies are increasingly turning to AI in the design phase of product development in order to speed up the introduction of innovative new goods. While conceptual models and engineering ideas have received more attention in the past, the focus is now on automation systems, data flow control, system integration, and optimization technologies. Modern information and production technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, digital twin, cyber-physical system, and many more have contributed to the rise of smart manufacturing. The purpose of this research was to further the growing area of smart manufacturing.

【摘要】 This research paper explores the evolution of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platforms and their pivotal role in the digitization of Industry 4.0, as well as their contribution to the transition towards Industry 5.0. The characteristics, challenges and opportunities of these platforms will be addressed, highlighting their impact on the digital transformation of industrial operations. Two case studies are unveiled, showcasing the implementation of IIoT platforms. These platforms leverage cutting-edge technology, notably from the AWS (Amazon Web Services) ecosystem, enabling the development of solutions grounded in the three pillars of Industry 5.0: human-centered design, sustainability, and resilience. Through these case studies, its aim to illustrate how the integration of AWS technologies contributes to the realization of Industry 5.0 principles, emphasizing a focus on human-centric approaches, sustainable practices, and resilient industrial systems.
