【摘要】 Aiming at solving the battery electric vehicle (BEV) problems of high energy consumption and low efficiency in heating at low temperature, this study takes the thermal management system of BEV as the research object and develops an integrated thermal management control system based on heat pump air-conditioning for BEV. First, the functional requirements and optimal operating temperature range of each BEV subsystem are defined. Second, on the basis of the thermodynamic cycle principle of the air-conditioning system and compared with the traditional positive temperature coefficient thermistor (PTC) heating mode, the high heating efficiency and low energy consumption advantages of the heat pump system in winter are highlighted. Third, combined with the special structural characteristics of BEV, a hybrid heating scheme (i.e., heat pump system + PTC) is proposed, and a "motor/electronic control system waste heat recovery" scheme is formulated to realize the secondary recovery of energy. Fourth, the functional mode of the integrated vehicle thermal management scheme is divided, its working circuit is determined, and then its work priority rules are established. Finally, the control strategy models of the key components of the system are established using MATLAB/Simulink, while the thermal management system model is built using AMESim. The application environment scenarios are set, and the efficiency of the system under different temperatures is simulated and analyzed to verify the effectiveness of the developed system. Results show that the developed system has a significant effect, effectively reducing the energy consumption when the vehicle starts the thermal management system at low temperature while improving the vehicle efficiency. Thus, this research contributes to the improvement and application of the heating system of BEVs at low temperature.

【摘要】 Oils processing occurs in multiple stages and requires specialized piping systems to handle different fluids. There are dedicated piping systems that transport crude oils, natural gases, liquids and semisolid materials. Service fluids will exhibit diverse physical and chemical characteristics at every stage. The design and size of pipeline components change as the fluid moves from one process to the other. Oils and their products are explosive, with traces of hazardous gases. As such, valves and other components of the piping systems must provide leak and emission-free transportation of fluids. Valves undergo stringent testing that adheres to American Petroleum Institute (API), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and Manufacturer Standardization Society (MSS) standards. These tests are vital for defining the temperature and pressure limits and the leakage classes of valves. There are traces of hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, chlorides and water present in crude oil. Gas traces convert into weak acids that corrode internal pipe components. Other oil applications operate at low temperatures, requiring the use of cryogenic valves.

Tellurian is doing its part by making this initial US$240 million pipeline investment as part of the broader Driftwood Pipeline system which will provide enhanced supply reliability to meet the area's projected industrial growth in a cleaner, more sustainable manner."

【摘要】 The industrial Air Separations Unit (ASU) is a complicated and tightly operated process. The use of dynamic process analytics is also a key element of safe and economic operation of these processes, with increasing focus on predictive analytics to take preemptive actions. With the availability of real-time data from hundreds of sensors, the data analysis process should also consider the topology of the data, as seen in sensor networks. In this paper, a novel tool is presented that considers the complex connectivity patterns in the sensor network and uses local adaptive disturbance estimations to predict global network-scale trends. The paper introduces the emerging field of Graph Signal Processing (GSP) and presents a rigorous derivation of the tool starting from the extraction of the sensor-network (in a graph theoretical sense) from the data. This network, which is in the form of a matrix, is then used to derive a Kalman-filter type of state-space model driven by input disturbances. Multiple disturbance models (e.g., step, ramp, periodic) are included to allow the model to have different kinds of disturbance propagation. Each graph node (representing the sensors used) dynamically adapts to the most recent detected disturbance individually. These estimated disturbances are propagated to the global network using the graph. Modifications to ensure stability are also discussed. The fidelity of the tool is tested on certain downtime events and the paper concludes by discussing the advantages of the method and planned future improvements.
